Letter to Mom from Joanne and Nancy
Dear Aunt Lydia,
Nancy and I are still in shock.
As are all of you I'm sure.
We will forever remember Matthew as that "beautiful boy" even though
he grew up to be just as beautiful.
Matthew lived life to the fullest. He made every minute count. He was happy and
had the love of a wonderful family Was there ever anyone who met him without
falling in love with him? He made an impact on everyone. In a million
years we could not imagine what you are feeling. It is every mother's worst
nightmare! What I do know is that you will get through this with the same
courage and dignity that has brought you through so much of life's tragedies.
You have always been my inspiration, my heart, my second Mother.
Take comfort in knowing that Matthew loved you and his family with all that he
was.
You will never be alone. I believe he will always watch over you.
Listen to the wind and you will hear him whisper.
